Bear | Autumn Dog Photography

Bear is SO LOVED. I was so excited to get to meet this epically adorable little buddy after having to wait almost a year to do our session! Daniel got Alison a gift certificate for Christmas, which she was waaaaay excited about. Of course, that isn’t the best season for photos outdoors in Portland because of the cold and gloomy weather, so they waited to schedule until the time was perfect for stunning fall colors. Bear is completely captivating all on his own, but the leaves and the beautiful light at his session just made him look that much more handsome. Daniel and Alison are a completely adorable couple as well- and recently engaged!- so it was just all kinds of magical to document their love of their sweet, sweet Bear and each other. I truly love to photograph people as well as dogs, and when I get to capture the connection they have with their animals, it’s basically my favorite thing ever. Have you ever tried to take a selfie with your partner and your dog together? It’s hilariously difficult. That’s where I come in!

This pup has some pretty awesome facial expressions that were so ridiculously fun to document. If the sun didn’t set by the end of our session, I think I could have gone on forever. Thanks Bear, for all the smiles you gave to me that day and for keeping Daniel and Alison full of them as well on a daily basis!
